After a successful 43rd World Scout Conference (see outcomes) and as we start the last year of the 2022-2025 Regional Triennium, the European Scout Region has outlined this exceptional communication to keep you updated as official contacts.
Membership Requirements
As per the Rights and Obligations of Member Organizations - Art. VII Constitution of WOSM - Annual Reporting to WOSM is an important membership requirement. We call all Official Contacts for action to support your team to complete the following information via the World Scouting Directory as soon as possible.
- ✅ Contact information – Review and update the organisation details and appointees list.
- ✅ Safe from Harm – Identify a Safe from Harm coordinator and upload the National Safe from Harm Policy and Safeguarding Reporting Procedure.
- ✅ Census – Submit the membership statistics and estimated beneficiaries as of 31 December 2023.
- ✅ Reports – Upload the 2023 annual activities report and financial statement.
Additionally, we would like to take this opportunity to remind all MOs that have yet to complete the Safe from Harm Self-Assessment that it is overdue for the current Self-Assessment cycle. With many dimensions being required for your Annual Reporting, it is helpful to complete the self-assessment before 15 October 2024.

Regional Events in 2025
To ensure visibility on upcoming events - to facilitate your planning and budgeting - a Calendar is available on Treehouse for 2024-2025. The latest updates are regularly included, including tentative events as heads-up for the year 2025 (also in pdf).

Regional Reach Out 2024
Additionally, we are pleased to launch a new edition of the Regional Reach Out from 14 October to 15 November 2024.
As usual, the audience is the executive arm of your national leadership, so please feel free to circulate to confirm your preferred date and time slot as soon as possible. Building on your feedback, we continue to mobilise our resources to ensure we reach as many National Scout Organisations and Associations as possible. We therefore highly encourage you to plan a time for us to connect.
