Africa Scout Conference
As the governing body of the Africa Scout Region, the Africa Scout Conference develops the general policy of the region through resolutions. The conference takes place every three years, where it elects members of the Africa Scout Committee. Each member National Scout Organization can send up to six delegates and a number of observers to the Africa Scout Conference.
Africa Scout Committee
The Africa Scout Committee serves as the executive body for the Africa Scout Region. This committee is made up of eight elected members and two ex-officio members, each serving a six-year term. To maintain continuity, four elected members retire and are replaced by new members at each Africa Scout Conference. Importantly, all committee members come from different countries, ensuring diverse representation across the region.
Youth Advisors to the Africa Scout Committee
The Africa Scout Youth Forum elects six Youth Advisors to the Africa Scout Committee for a three-year term. These Youth Advisors participate in Africa Scout Committee meetings and assist in preparing for the next Africa Scout Youth Forum.
