These Youth Representatives will join a global network of Scout Youth Representatives, strengthening World Scouting’s advocacy efforts. As part of their mandate, they will undergo targeted technical training to deepen their understanding of key policy issues, build advocacy skills, and position them to represent Scouting at major international events and policy forums.
While their engagement extends to the global level, their work will be coordinated by the Africa Scout Regional Office, in collaboration with the Manager for Strategic Partnerships and Fundraising and the Global Policy and Campaigns Team.
Please join us in congratulating these outstanding young leaders and wishing them success as they champion the critical issues affecting young people in Africa and ensure that the voices of African Scouts are heard at global decision-making tables.
Yours in Scouting,
Frederic Tutu Kama-Kama
