Dear friends in Scouting,
The Interamerican Scout Committee, through Agreement 27/2025, has decided to reopen the call for Member Organisations (MOs) to submit their proposals to host the 18th Interamerican Scout Jamboree and 5th Interamerican Scout Camporee (JamCam 2029).
This decision reflects the Committee’s commitment to delivering this key event for adolescents and young people in our region. To ensure that JamCam 2029 takes place, and recognising that Scouting is a movement of young people, the Committee has extended the deadline to make it easier for interested MOs to submit their proposals.
MOs must send their proposals by 15 September 2025, using the technical format attached to this circular, to the following email address: [email protected]
The World Scout Bureau Interamerica Support Centre is ready to support MOs in preparing their proposals. We encourage MOs to contact the office, as doing so provides access not only to expert guidance but also to information about past experiences and events, as well as templates and practical examples (such as for budget planning). This support helps MOs build stronger proposals that fully align with the requirements of the call.
We deeply appreciate the commitment of MOs to strengthening Scouting in our region and their willingness to contribute to the organisation of this important regional event.
