Dear friends in Scouting,
Following up on Circular 8, which invited Member Organisations (MOs) to host the upcoming regional events — the 30th Interamerican Scout Conference (2028), the 18th Interamerican Scout Jamboree and 5th Interamerican Scout Camp – JamCam (2029), and the Interamerican Scout Moot — we inform you that the deadline to submit the expression of interest form has been extended to 27 July 2025.
This extension aims to provide interested MOs with more time to develop their expressions of interest and prepare a preliminary proposal that adequately reflects their vision and organisational capacity. Please note that submitting an expression of interest does not constitute a formal commitment, but it allows the process of technical support from the World Scout Bureau (WSB) to begin.
It is important to emphasise that the only deadline being modified is that for submitting expressions of interest. The final deadline for submitting formal candidacies remains unchanged: 15 September 2025.
