GLB-C13-2026

Dear friends,

We invite all National Scout Organizations (NSOs) to take part in World Scouting’s Annual Survey – 2026, an opportunity to contribute to a stronger global organisation. Your responses will provide a clearer understanding of the Movement, highlight current needs, identify areas where NSOs may benefit from support, and track progress towards the goals of the World Triennial Plan 2024-2027 and the Regional Triennial Plans 2025–2028. The survey is available here in English, French, Arabic, and Spanish.

We encourage each NSO to nominate one person to coordinate the responses and submit the survey on behalf of their organisation. Only one survey can be submitted per NSO, except for Federations, where each National Scout Association (NSA) should complete the survey separately. Given the range of topics covered, we recommend reviewing the questions and preparing their answers in advance. The full list of survey questions and answer options is available in the annex.

The results will be combined and published in the Midterm Review Report, individual NSO, and NSA responses will not be published. Responses collected will also be analysed and shared with relevant World Scouting project teams. Baseline and midterm key performance indicator data will be stored and used for comparison purposes (at the world and regional levels).

To make participation easier, we have significantly reduced the number of questions in this latest survey compared to the Baseline Survey circulated at the beginning of the Triennium.

We kindly request NSOs to submit their responses by 30 June 2026. Should you have any questions or require assistance, please contact your Regional Support Centre or Federica Imperadrice, Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation, at the World Scout Bureau, by email at [email protected].

Yours in Scouting,

David Berg
Secretary General
