Greetings from the Asia-Pacific Support Centre!
We are pleased to inform you that a REFERENDUM thru the Regional Scout Committee was conducted about APR Circular No.08/2024 inviting the National Scout Organizations in our region to submit “Manifestation of Intent” to host the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree in 2025 in order not to deprive our young people in the region the opportunity of a once-in-a-lifetime experience of attending a Regional Scout Jamboree.
The Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree is being organised as a major Scouting event of the region. This is aimed at giving additional opportunity to young people, between the ages of 12 – 17 years old, to take part in such an event at least once in her/his lifetime as a Scout.
In this connection, we are pleased to inform you that Boy Scouts of the Philippines will host the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree from 14 to 21 December 2025 at Kainomayan Scout Camp in the Municipality of Botolan, Province of Zambales, Philippines.
Basic information of the Jamboree are, as follows:
Date: 14 ~ 21 December 2025. Participants are requested to arrive on the Jamboree ground before noon of 14 December 2025 and may depart on 22 December 2025.
Venue: Kainomayan Scout Camp in the Municipality of Botolan, Province of Zambales, Philippines The Jamboree site is 236 km from Manila, the capital of the Republic of the Philippines.
Transportation to the venue:
1. Participants may take flights going to either the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) or the Clark International Airport (CRK).
2. The Jamboree site is almost five (5) hours away from MNL airport and almost three (3) hours away from CRK airport. Shuttle buses will be provided from both airports to the Jamboree site and vice versa.
3. Private buses are also available from Metro Manila to the Municipality of Botolan, Province of Zambales.
Eligibility: Male and female Scouts aged 12 to 17 years old at the start of the Jamboree are eligible to take part in the 33rd APR Scout Jamboree as participants.
In this Jamboree, a Scout Troop will consist of four patrols, with nine Scouts in each patrol and an adult leader. Therefore, a Scout Troop will consist of 36 Scouts with four adult leaders.
Jamboree Fee: Youth Particpants shall be charged of US$175.00, while the Unit Leaders and members of the International Service Team (IST) will be charged of US$200.00
The Jamboree Fee includes meals – starting from dinner of 14 December 2025 up to breakfast of 22 December 2025 while the meals for the ISTs shall start from dinner of 13 December 2025 and end with breakfast of 23 December 2025.
The fee will also include name tag, event scarf, programme guide, first aid and participation in the Jamboree programme.
Programme Highlight: The Jamboree will champion the Sustainable Development Goals, the Global Development Village, the Asia-Pacific Village, Faith Valley, exciting outdoor activities and a taste of the traditional culture of the locality
