Survey on Climate Sustainability Action Plan (CSAP)
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Scouting,
Greetings from the WOSM-APR Support Centre!
We are reaching out to request your participation in a regional survey on the Climate Sustainability Action Plan (CSAP). This survey aims to assess the current status of the CSAP among National Scout Organizations (NSOs) in the Asia-Pacific Region.
As part of the Asia-Pacific Regional Strategy and Triennial Plan 2025-2028, the data gathered will support the monitoring and implementation of plans for the attainment of Strategic Priority No. 5, "A Fit for Purpose Organisation". Particularly, this aligns with Core Objective No. 5.3, which seeks to ensure that the Scout Movement is prepared for the impacts of climate change and actively implements climate sustainability actions across all operations.
The Key Performance Indicator (KPI) set for this objective is that at least 17 NSOs (50%) integrate a Climate Sustainability Action Plan into their national strategy and implement at least two operational actions. Your responses to this survey will help the Asia-Pacific Region to understand the level of preparedness and implementation across the region.
The survey is divided into the following sections to provide a comprehensive overview of your NSO's current standing:
