JAMCAM 2025: Americas United for Peace

Interamerica Support Centre • 5 February 2025

Dear friends in Scouting,

As part of the upcoming 17th Interamerican Jamboree and 4th Scout Camporee (JamCam 2025), we share key information regarding participation requirements, registration categories, fees, and important dates. This event will bring together young participants from across the Interamerican Region, promoting the 'Americas united for peace' through learning, fellowship, and the development of skills in an environment of cooperation.

Participation requirements

All participants in JamCam 2025 must be registered with a National Scout Organisation (NSO) recognised by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM). In countries with multiple associations, they must organise as a single contingent.

Participation categories

  • Youth Participants:
    • Camporee: 11 to 14 years old
    • Jamboree: 15 to 17 years old
    • Minimum age: 11 years old by 27 December 2025
    • Maximum age: Must not turn 18 before 1 January 2026
  • Responsible Adult Leaders:
    • Each patrol or team of 9 young people must have one responsible adult leader.
    • Minimum age: 20 years old at the start of the event.
  • International Service Team (IST):
    • Open to individuals over 18 years of age.
  • Contingent Management Team (CMT):
    • Exclusively composed of adults supporting the organisation of the contingent.

Participation fees

The fees have been approved by the Interamerican Scout Committee and are set based on the event fees per country category as defined by WOSM. This approach aims to encourage equitable participation in regional and global events.
