As we look towards the future of Scouting in the European Region, we are excited to initiate the development of our next Regional Scout Plan and invite your essential input. This process will build upon our shared achievements in the current Regional Scout Plan, guiding our continued growth and impact across Europe.
We are happy to share the process timeline and kick off the first step. A survey will be conducted with Member Organizations (MO) in November/December 2024 for feedback on prioritising WOSM objectives. PESTEL assessment will be simultaneously conducted, resulting in a Draft 0 to be submitted to the European Scout Committee before the end of December 2024. The first draft will be shared with MOs in the second week of February 2025, and partners and young people will also be able to provide feedback. The European Scout Symposium will take place from 14th to 16th March 2025. By the end of March 2025, a final draft will be completed and sent to ESC for review before being circulated to MOs. Engagement webinars for MOs will be held in April, May, and June 2025.

In line with the WOSM Planning Framework, we are conducting a prioritisation survey that will assist in shaping the objectives for the upcoming plan. This survey includes a ‘library’ of 31 outcome-focused objectives designed to support meaningful youth engagement, foster effective leadership, and enhance Scouting's positive impact in communities across our region. Your feedback will help us identify which areas should be prioritised in the European Scout Region and refined in the new plan, ensuring we address the needs and aspirations of our member organisations and Scouts.

Please take a few moments to review the survey objectives and prioritise those you believe will significantly impact our movement’s development. The survey will allow you to prioritise the objectives you feel need to be addressed in the European Scout Region starting from the next Triennium.
