Call for Bids to Host the 12th Asia-Pacific Scout Leaders Summit
Dear Colleagues,
Greetings from the Asia-Pacific Support Centre.
We are pleased to invite interested National Scout Organizations to submit bids to host the 12th Asia-Pacific Scout Leaders Summit, scheduled to be held from 22 to 25 April 2027.
The Summit aims to provide a platform for Scout leaders across the Region to discuss and review major regional challenges, share developments in World Scouting, and collectively prepare for the World Scout Conference in the United Kingdom (November 2027) and the 29th Asia-Pacific Scout Conference in Hong Kong (December 2028).
The Summit is expected to bring together approximately 125-150 participants, including representatives from member NSOs, Regional Scout Committee members, Sub-Committee and Task Force Chairs, World Scout Committee members, World Scout Bureau staff, and invited resource persons.
The Four NSO representatives invited are:
- Chief Commissioner or equivalent
- International Commissioner
- Chief Scout Executive or equivalent
- One youth representative
Interested NSOs are requested to review the attached Summit Outline and complete the attached Bidding Form, providing the required information on the proposed venue, accommodation, logistics, facilities, organizing arrangements, and other relevant details.
