On 7 March 2024, the World Scout Committee recommended through Circular N° 07/2024 that the Association des Scouts et Guides du Mali, as the National Scout Organization (NSO) of Mali, be accepted as a Member Organization of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) with voting rights.
By the deadline of 23:59 UTC on 8 June 2024, this recommendation was not opposed by any Member Organization.
Therefore, as of 9 June 2024, the Association des Scouts et Guides du Mali is now declared the 175th Member Organization of WOSM in accordance with Article VI.2 of the Constitution of WOSM.
On behalf of the World Scout Committee and all Scouts worldwide, I hereby congratulate the NSO of Mali for achieving this important milestone.
We wish the Association des Scouts et Guides du Mali all the best in the further expansion of Scouting in Mali as they continue to enable more young people to become active citizens who are making an impact in their communities.
