Greetings from the Asia-Pacific Support Centre!
It is our pleasure to announce that the 11th APR Scout Leaders Summit will be held in April 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand to be hosted by the National Scout Organization of Thailand.
On behalf of the Regional Scout Committee and the National Scout Organization of Thailand, we are inviting three (3) key leaders of National Scout Organizations in our region to this Scout Leaders Summit.
Each NSO will be represented by its:
- Chief Commissioner or equivalent
- International Commissioner
- Chief Scout Executive or equivalent
In addition, members of the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee will be directly involved in running the Summit with the support of its Advisory Committee’s Chairmen.

Dates: 24-27 April 2024.
Participants are expected to arrive on 23 April and may depart on 28 April 2024.
Aim: The Aim of the 11th APR Scout Leaders Summit:
- To discuss and review major regional challenges. • To prepare the future direction for the region.
- To share developments in World Scouting; and
- To collectively prepare for the World Scout Conference in Egypt (August 2024) and Regional Scout Conference in Taiwan (October 2025).
Programme: The tentative programme is attached. However, if your NSO has any suggestions for a particular item to be included in the Summit programme, please let us know latest by 30 November 2023.
Registration fee:
- Participants: US$ 295.00 per person
- Accompanying Persons: US$ 295.00 per person
Fee will cover inland transportation, food and accommodation for 5 nights in twin-sharing rooms, educational tour, summit documents and souvenirs.
For those who would prefer to be in single room, an additional amount of US$ 100.00 for the whole duration will be borne by the concerned participant.
