Safe from Harm ensures that everyone in Scouting - especially children and young people - feels safe everywhere and at all times. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and every member of the Movement plays a role in protecting children, young people, and adults.
In 2021, World Scouting made safeguarding a fundamental membership requirement through a landmark constitutional amendment. This commitment ensures accountability at every level, puts safety at the centre of Scouting, and provides dedicated mechanisms to support National Scout Organizations (NSOs) worldwide.
This service offers clear guidelines, practical tools, and proven best practices to help NSOs turn safeguarding into action - both inside Scouting and in the communities they serve.
