As part of the Voices of Change project, the international training “Community Actions BY Youth, for Peace Education” offers young leaders a powerful space to learn, connect, and act.
Organised in partnership by World Scouting and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), this training brings together passionate youth from across Europe to explore peace education, strengthen their leadership skills, and co-create impactful community initiatives. Together, we will address key social challenges—such as social integration and crisis preparedness—while fostering mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue.
Taking place in Kraków, Poland, this five-day training is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant network of youth workers, Scouts, and student leaders committed to building more cohesive and resilient societies. Through interactive sessions, peer learning, and collaborative planning, you’ll be equipped to turn your ideas into sustainable action and elevate the voices of marginalised and conflict-affected communities.
Join us and become part of a new generation of changemakers, because change starts with your voice.
Aim & Objectives
Our goal is to empower and connect youth workers across Europe to become catalysts for peace by fostering cross-cultural collaboration, strengthening essential peacebuilding skills, and co-creating inclusive, community-led initiatives. These efforts aim to promote social cohesion, address pressing societal challenges, and amplify the voices of marginalised and conflict-affected youth. At the same time, we are building a bridge between the work of the Peace Education team during the 2022–2025 Triennium and the newly adopted Regional Scout Plan 2025–2028, aligning our efforts with the resolution on Peace Education.
Participants will:
- Cultivate a network of youth leaders equipped with peace education principles, leadership skills, and practical tools to create a sustainable, community-driven impact.
- Raise awareness about Peace and Human Rights Education.
- Develop critical thinking skills.
- Empower youth leadership by providing practical project design and management tools.
- Foster collaborative action through peer-to-peer learning and community-driven initiatives.
- Bridge organisational gaps by connecting local youth with NGOs and institutions open to partnerships.

The event will take place in Kraków, Poland, with activities hosted at the scenic venue of Korzkiew. Participants are expected to arrive on the morning of 15 October 2025 and will depart in the afternoon of 19 October 2025.
