Circular 21-IAR-Conf
Dear friends in Scouting,
In accordance with the Constitution of the Interamerican Scout Region, Articles 8(a), 12(j), and 13, the Rules of Procedure of the 29th Interamerican Scout Conference, and following Circular 8—which invited Member Organisations to submit bids to host regional events—and Circular 10—which opened the nomination process for members of the Interamerican Scout Committee—we are pleased to share the lists of candidates to be presented at the Conference in Curaçao:
1. Candidates for the Interamerican Scout Committee (2025–2028 term)
The list of candidates is now available for the following voluntary positions within the Interamerican Scout Committee:
- Voting Members of the Interamerican Scout Committee
- Youth Advisers to the Interamerican Scout Committee (non-voting members)
The profiles of these individuals, including a general description of the nomination by the Member Organisation and the motivational statements provided by each candidate, are available in Conference Document 7.
2. Candidates to Host Regional Scout Events
The following Member Organisations have submitted bids to host upcoming regional events. The 29th Interamerican Scout Conference will vote to determine the host locations:
- 30th Interamerican Scout Conference (2028):
- Brazil – União dos Escoteiros do Brasil
- Colombia – Asociación Scouts de Colombia
- Peru – Asociación de Scouts del Perú
- 18th Interamerican Scout Jamboree and 5th Interamerican Scout Camporee – JamCam (2029):
- Mexico – Asociación de Scouts de México
- 5th Interamerican Scout Moot (2030):
- Colombia – Asociación Scouts de Colombia
- Panama – Asociación Nacional de Scouts de Panamá
Member Organisations can access information about the host proposals in Conference Document 8 and on the official Conference website.
Pre-engagement Sessions
To allow delegations to learn more about the candidates and proposals, two webinars will be held:

Voting will take place during the plenary sessions of the Conference, as outlined in the provisional agenda. All delegations are encouraged to review this information and participate in the preparatory sessions to make informed decisions.
