Dear friends in Scouting,

We are delighted to announce the official launch of the 4th Interamerican Scout Moot, taking place from 27 December 2027 to 3 January 2028 in Ecuador. Over eight days, young Scouts from across the Region will come together to share an experience of adventure, service, and cultural exchange in one of the continent's most diverse countries, and to welcome the New Year together.

As a first step, we are pleased to share Moot Bulletin 1, which you can download here:

It includes the theme of the Moot, the structure of the programme, including the Main Venue and its four experience routes, as well as the participation fees by category and the payment deadlines.

The first step for each National Scout Organisation is to appoint its Head of Contingent, who will serve as the official liaison with the Moot organisers and support the contingent throughout the entire process. Please communicate this appointment by 15 December 2026 using the form included in Bulletin 1 and send it to [email protected] and [email protected]

In the coming weeks, we will share the Moot Communication Kit with all National Scout Organizations (NSOs). It will include the logo, the brand guidelines, and editable templates. Each NSO can adapt it to its own needs to promote the Moot in its country, without creating materials from scratch, while keeping a shared visual identity across the Region.

The Moot is much more than an event. It is an opportunity to meet young people from across the Americas and the Caribbean, serve local communities, step outside our comfort zones, and grow together. We invite you to share this call widely within your NSO and encourage young Scouts aged 18 to 26 to be part of this experience. Those over 26 can also join as members of the International Service Team (IST).

We look forward to welcoming you to Ecuador, where together we will make this great regional experience happen!
