Circular No. GLB-C02-2022
Dear friends,
Looking ahead to the upcoming bidding process for future World Scout Events, in May 2022 the World Scout Bureau will issue formal invitations for expressions of interest to host the following events:
- 44th World Scout Conference (2027)[1]
- 17th World Scout Moot (2029)
- 27th World Scout Jamboree (2031)
The World Scout Bureau would be pleased to offer advice and guidance to assist any interested National Scout Organizations (NSOs) or alliances of NSOs in the preparation of all aspects of their proposals, as well as discuss the risks and benefits of each event. This offer provides NSOs with an informal opportunity to learn more about the bidding process and enables them to be fully informed before presenting a formal offer.
Prior to the official invitation, we encourage all NSOs or alliances of NSOs that are considering a potential bid to contact and discuss their ideas, informally and in confidence, with Jacob Murray, Director, World Events, at the World Scout Bureau at [email protected].
Yours in Scouting,
Ahmad Alhendawi
Secretary General
World Organization of the Scout Movement
