The Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Foundation (APRSF), in collaboration with the Scout Association of Japan, celebrated another milestone of successful fundraising event on 23 May 2025 at the Hakata Clio Court Hotel in Fukuoka. Thanks to the dedicated efforts and leadership of Scout Association of Japan in coordination with the Vice President of APR Scout Foundation Management Committee, Mr. Paul Murayama who have been extending extra ordinary effort for the APRSF.
The event welcomed about a hundred supporters from ten countries and the World Scout Foundation.

The Foundation raised over USD11,000.00 from the proceeds in the Fundraising dinner and from membership contributions from 14 new and upgraded members who wants to further strengthened its mission to support the growth and development of Scouting across the region.
One of the highlights of the event was the remarks from Messrs. Mark Knippenberg and Thijs Stoffer of the World Scout Foundation. Both provided a comprehensive overview of the strategic investment initiatives undertaken by the WSF this time. They shed light on how these investments are shaping the future of Scouting globally and in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Amb. Ahmad Rusdi President of APRSF, expressed heartfelt appreciation to all attendees and contributors. He reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to empowering young people, supporting Scouting initiatives, and funding impactful Scouting projects across the Asia-Pacific.

Regional Director J. Rizal C. Pangilinan expressed his sincere gratitude to all attendees and took the opportunity to remind everyone of the movement’s shared vision: “To be the world’s most inspiring and inclusive youth movement, creating transformative learning experiences for every young person, everywhere.”
Members of the Regional Scout Committee - Simon Hang-Bock Rhee; Hiroshi Shimada; Somboon Bunyasiri; and, Yung-Chin Yang was in the event demonstrating their strong support for the AP Foundation and its plans.
This successful event marked another step forward in the APRSF’s mission to ensure that more young people across the region can benefit from the values, experiences, and opportunities that Scouting provides.
