Interamerica - Virtual Scout Campus

The Virtual Scout Campus for Interamerican Region is a virtual space developed for the training, collective construction and networking of adults who are part of the World Scout Movement in any role and National Scout Organization (NSOs) to which they belong.

It is an open space that offers easy access to information for the development and improvement of the competencies and the strengthening and growth of the NSOs.

Virtual Scout CampusAll information available here is subject to the regulations and policies of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), the World Scout Bureau and the Interamerican Scout Region.

The Campus is a virtual, accessible and flexible learning space where you will find a range of courses of general interest to complement the training processes of the NSOs.

SfH1: Safe from Harm essential learnings
We recommend that this course be included in the induction processes for new volunteers, annual registration of volunteers, requirements for participation in events. (It replaces the previous SfH2 that had been requested at the regional level.

SfH2: WOSM Safe from Harm course for volunteers and staff
This course, designed for the staff and volunteers that support the different teams and working groups of WOSM, contains examples of how to recognize, prevent and act against inappropriate behavior, providing a guide for the desired behavior of WOSM representatives.

SfH2b: WOSM SfH procedures
This course designed also for the staff and volunteers that support the different teams and working groups of WOSM describes the internal procedures Safe from Harm of WOSM, explains to all volunteers and WOSM staff what to do when faced to a dangerous situation.

SfH3: Be safe on-line
This course, designed for young people, helps them understand how to be safe to prevent dangerous situations and act when they participate in virtual environments.

SfH3b: Be safe on-line for Adults in Scouting
This e-learning was designed for Adults to support children and young people during online activities.

SfH4: Safe from Harm during online events
This online course is meant to help participants understand how to be safe, prevent dangerous situations and act when they encounter them online.
