[Online Campfire] Retention and Recognition in Adults in Scouting

Europe Support Centre

Growth is central in most NSOs and is worked on at the national, regional, and local levels. Retention is crucial throughout the volunteer journey.

In this spirit, the Volunteer team, under the Area of Movement of the Operational Framework 2025-2028, is organising an online campfire on volunteer retention, open to all National Scout Organizations and Associations, with materials and discussions that will revolve around community-based scouting in a European context

Who should attend?

The event is aimed at national or district/regional persons responsible for recruitment, growth, volunteer management, and similar roles within Adults in Scouting.

What to expect?

This webinar will provide a brief overview of retention dimensions, focusing on the tools and materials already available to help and inspire. Materials will cover WOSM resources and practices from National Scout Organizations across Europe.

The second half of the session will include a facilitated networking session for participants to share best practices. You will also have the chance to provide input on specific subtopics or tools that may be missing from the current portfolio.
