Dear Colleagues,

Greetings from the APR Support Centre!

We are pleased to announce that the Asia-Pacific Region is organizing the 11th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Youth Forum in conjunction with the 28th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference (Ref.: APR-C19-2024). This significant event will be hosted by The General Association of the Scouts of China.

Aligned with the 33rd World Scout Conference Resolution 10/93, adopted in Thailand, the purpose of holding the regional youth forum alongside the conference is to provide young people with the opportunity to participate in decision-making processes. The forum serves as a platform for young people to develop and enhance their decision-making skills at the institutional level within Scouting.

Please complete the attached Reply Slip and send it to the World Scout Bureau, Asia-Pacific Support Centre, not later than 30 June 2025 with a copy to the Scouts of China. Please note that this reply slip is different from the “Youth Forum Registration Form” where your participants will be asked to fill-up individually, through their NSO, at a later date together with Forum Fee.

Together with this circular is the copy of the revised Guidelines for Organizing Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Youth Forum (version 2020) and general programme of the forum. We encourage you to give copies of these documents to your forum participants so that they may have a purposeful event. Additional detailed information will be circulated in due course.

Your cooperation in making this Regional Youth Forum a success would be appreciated. We look forward to the active involvement of young members in this important event, fostering a vibrant and inclusive decision-making environment within our Scouting community.

With best Scouting wishes,

J. Rizal C. Pangilinan
