Greetings from the Asia-Pacific Support Centre!
We are pleased to inform you that during its online meeting in October 2024, the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee approved adjustments to the dates and venue for the 11th Asia-Pacific Scout Youth Forum and the Asia-Pacific Course for Leader Trainers (CLT) to enhance logistical coordination and improve the overall participant experience.
Revised Dates and Venue:
11th Asia-Pacific Scout Youth Forum
New Schedule: 6–9 October 2025
Venue: Taipei (The exact venue will be confirmed later)
Asia-Pacific Course for Leader Trainers (CLT)
Original Schedule: 4–10 October 2025
New Schedule: 3–9 October 2025
Venue: Yangmingshan Teachers’ Training Centre, Taipei City
Rationale for the Adjustments:
Optimized Scheduling: Aligning the Youth Forum and CLT allows for better resource management and logistical coordination, ensuring a more seamless experience for participants.
Improved Transition to the Regional Conference: The revised schedule provides one to two transition days for participants traveling from Taipei to Kaohsiung for the 28th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference, allowing for smoother travel and preparation.
Enhanced Support for Participants: Hosting both events in Taipei before the conference ensures better facilitation and organizational support for participants of both ancillary events, especially those who are also attending the regional conference.
