Leaders from across the Region discuss collaboration and the future of Scouting. The Summit features networking, Fundraising Dinner, and exhibitions.

Bangkok, Thailand, April 2024 – The National Scout Organization of Thailand (NSOT) is set to host the 11th Asia-Pacific Regional (APR) Scout Leaders Summit (referred to as the Summit) this coming 24 to 27 April 2024 at the Montien Riverside Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Summit is gathering key leaders from the member National Scouts Organizations and National Scout Associations from all over the Region to report and review the progress of the APR Plan 2022-2025.

“A thorough review of the plan at the midterm stage during the APR Scout Leaders Summit is a big boost for member organisations to appreciate their essential contributions to the Region’s targets,” - said Regional Director Jose Rizal Pangilinan.

More than a celebration of successes and milestones, APR also invited key people from the World Scout Committee—the executive body of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM)—to further foster cooperation among members of the Scout Movement and discuss some developments in World Scouting.

Exhibitors from Thailand and all over the Region will also set up booths to enhance participants’ experience.

Within the Summit, everyone is invited to join a generous dining experience through the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Foundation’s Fundraising Dinner. Attendees can take this opportunity to network with people from different nations while supporting efforts of youth development in the Region on 25 April 2024.

The 11th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Leaders Summit is organised in collaboration with the WOSM Asia-Pacific Support Centre. This event is also supported by the Ministry of Education Thailand.
