Safe from Harm Week 2026 is here - and this year, we’re turning up the energy!
Join Scouts from around the world from 11-17 May as we learn, share, and take action to make Scouting safer, stronger, and more supportive for everyone. From engaging activities to meaningful conversations, this year’s focus is on “Safeguarding Culture in Scouting” - because creating safe environments isn’t just about policies, it’s about building a culture of safety through everyday behaviours and attitudes.
Throughout the week, we’re exploring what this looks like in practice, with each day highlighting a different aspect of building safe, inclusive, and empowering environments.
Key resources
- Activity guide: Discover a range of safeguarding-related activities that local Scout groups can use during the week - or at any time of the year. The activity guide is available in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
- Safe from Harm Framework for Youth Programme: Explore key topics that children and young people may face in Scouting and everyday life, through practical activities and workshops designed for all Scout groups.
