WOSM Registration and World Events Fees
This page brings together key information to help National Scout Organizations (NSOs) understand the proposal for and referendum on WOSM’s Registration Fee Model and Event Fee Model.
Following Resolution 2024-02, the World Scout Committee appointed a Fee Task Force to launch a detailed review of WOSM’s Registration Fee Model and to propose an update that would achieve a fairer distribution of fees that reflect different economic and membership realities, without increasing overall fee income.
This proposed model was shared with all NSOs in May 2026, and after consultations with nearly two-thirds of WOSM’s membership, the World Scout Committee has agreed to launch a referendum to the Movement for its approval.
Latest update
A referendum was launched on 20 July 2026 and will close on 31 August 2026, via a circular sent to all NSOs through their official contact.

The review of WOSM’s fee models is based on decisions made by Member Organizations at World Scout Conferences.
