The Africa Scout Day is a time to celebrate the Scout Movement’s contribution to the development of Africa. Celebrated annually on March 13, the Africa Scout Day was established in 1995 by the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), now the African Union. It is an opportunity for Scouts, leaders, and supporters across the continent to come together in unity, celebrate the achievements of Scouting, and reflect on the challenges and aspirations that lie ahead.
For 2025, under the theme "Shaping the Life You Lead," Africa Scout Day will focus on empowering young people to take active responsibility for their own lives and to become positive agents of change in their communities.
