Dear friends,
As part of our shared commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children, young people, and adults involved in Scouting, we are pleased to introduce a new Safe from Harm Platform.
The new Safe from Harm Platform has been designed to provide a simpler and more user-friendly experience for National Scout Organizations (NSOs) and National Scout Associations (NSAs) to complete and manage their Safe from Harm Self-Assessments.
Through the online platform, you can:
- Complete your Safe from Harm Self-Assessment and upload supporting evidence more easily.
- Receive feedback and reviews directly from your Regional Safe from Harm Panel.
- Track the progress of your assessment and access submission information in one place.
Invitations and login credentials to access the platform will be shared in phases over the next few weeks with National Safe from Harm Coordinators or, if this role is not registered in the World Scouting Directory, the Official Contacts of your NSO/NSAs. Once each account has been created, you will receive instructions on how to activate your account and begin using the platform.
Please note that the previous Safe from Harm Assessment Platform will be deactivated on 15 October 2026, and we will support all NSO/NSAs to transition to the new platform and use it for all future self-assessment submissions. All existing data will be migrated to the new platform by our team.
Before the end of 2026, we will also share an update on the validity period of current self-assessments, and a progress update on the enforcement mechanism as requested by Resolution 2024-06.
