We are excited to share that the European Scout Foundation (ESF) has updated its funding model, extending the opportunity to all Scouts across the European Scout Region to actively contribute to the Strategy for Scouting and to support the Regional Scout Plan. The Foundation is now aligning its strategy with core regional priorities and introducing four dedicated funding categories:
Organisational resilience and capacity building: Strengthening the foundations of Scouting structures, including "traditional" infrastructure projects.
Diversity & Inclusion: Engaging underrepresented communities.
Innovative Education: Integrating technology and Peace Education.
Youth event participation: Support for young people to attend events leading to local development.
The call for projects is open until December 2026 with projects lasting maximum 6 months and up to May 2027. The granted amount can be up to 5,000 EUR. The primary target of this call for funding remains the local group support (grassroots level). Support for National Scout Organizations will be maintained only as an exception for specific strategic needs.
We will also host an online campfire where we will share more about the funding available and answer any questions you might have.
