We are excited to announce an open call for passionate individuals to join the Peace Education volunteer team within the European Scout Region. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact and contribute to vital initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, safety, human rights education, humanitarian action, advocacy, and dialogue.

Strengthening Crucial Topics

At the core of the Peace Education volunteer team's mission is a commitment to address essential topics that are pivotal in today's world. We tackle issues such as:

  • Diversity and Inclusion (D&I)

  • Safety

  • Human Rights Education (HRE)

  • Humanitarian Action (HA)

  • Advocacy

  • Dialogue

The appointed team will be working on the following goals of the Regional Scout Plan 2022-2025:

  • Strengthening the Member Organizations’ capacity to empower young people’s agency for peace by implementing peace educational resources and offering training opportunities.
  • Strengthening Member Organizations capacity to monitor and increase their humanitarian preparedness by building and reaffirming partnerships with humanitarian/ civil organisations.
  • Promoting a culture of peace by supporting Member Organizations to integrate and consolidate humanitarian preparedness, Safe from Harm and active inclusion in their organisational structures and approach.
