Caribbean Commissioners Meeting
Location: Aruba
Dates: March 22-24, 2019
This meeting hosted 16 countries from the region, it was an opportunity to present important topics that are affecting the subregion. Service Model of WOSM was one of the key topics, NSOs were encouraged to request services and support from the Interamerica Support Centre. Regional Plan, Vision 2023, Good Governance and NSO commitments were also explored. During the second day, WSB-IASC presented a workshop to help NSOs identify weaknesses and strengths they have within Youth Programme, Adults in Scouting, Safe from Harm, Youth Engagement, Communications and Good governance at local level. This exercise led to the second part where by NSO they were requested to prioritize actions and put them into an action plan with dates, outcomes and responsible for each. WSB-IASC will do the follow up with the NSOs of the actions to transform them in future services requests.

Reunión de los Comisionados del Caribe
Lugar: Aruba
Fechas: Marzo 22-24, 2019
Esta reunión acogió a 16 países de la Región y fue una oportunidad para presentar temas importantes que afectan a la subregión. Se presentó el Modelo de Servicio de la OMMS como uno de los temas clave, se alentó a las OSN a solicitar servicios y soporte al Centro de Apoyo Interamerica. También se revisó el plan regional, la visión 2023, el buena gobernanza y los compromisos de la OSN. Durante el segundo día, OSM-CAI presentó un taller para ayudar a las OSN a identificar las debilidades y fortalezas que tienen dentro del Programa de Jóvenes, Adultos en el Movimiento Scout, A Salvo del Peligro, Participación Juvenil, Comunicaciones y Buena Gobernanza a nivel local. Este ejercicio llevó a la segunda parte, donde las OSN les pidió que priorizaran las acciones y las pusieran en un plan de acción con fechas, resultados y responsables de cada una. OSM-CAI hará el seguimiento con las OSN de las acciones para transformarlas en futuras solicitudes de servicios.
