Greetings from the Asia-Pacific Support Centre!
In line with Circular No.1, Series of 2023, dated 13 January 2023 with the subject, “Asia Pacific Regional Big 6 Summit 2023,” we would like to inform you that at a meeting on 25 April 2023, attended by the representatives of the Big 6 Youth Organizations, it was decided to re-brand the event name to:
Asia-Pacific Youth Mobilisation Summit 2023
Representatives of the Big 6 Youth Organizations acknowledged that the 'Big 6' is a term much bigger than just a collaboration involving the six youth partner organisations. Certain procedures or factors need to be taken into account to ensure the sensitivity of the ‘Big 6’ brand, while respecting the brand of each individual partner youth organisations. Therefore, it was agreed that the Summit will be re-branded to allow more flexibility, inspire opportunities for growth, enhance learning value and increase the impact in meeting the Summit's goals and objectives.
We would like to assure you that the original concept, value and logistical arrangements such as the date, venue, objectives, eligibility, registration fee, accommodation, and working language remain the same.
In conjunction with this re-branding, we are also inviting NSOs to send more representatives to this exciting event. We would like to emphasise that NSOs who are interested, can send more than five participants. To date, we have received participants from over 15 countries and we are excited to meet everyone in this gathering of representative from leading non-formal educational youth organisations in the world.
